Merry Christmas

I’m going to be away for around 2-3 weeks. No, I’m not going anywhere special, it’s just that my internet is running low and it won’t renew itself until the 9th January 2009. The blog will be dead for a while.

So yeah, have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. =]

GRADUATED =]

Graduation.

Emotional, exciting, sad, happy...

Pretty much mixed feelings today.

Screaming kids, celebrating, hugging, crying.

OMG, I can't believe I'm actually leaving my school! :'(

Thank God I didn't cry though. I was about to but being infront of the entire school and parents stopped me from doing it.

Embarrassed ourselves when we sung and dance...

'Moving on, reaching out. We're gonna fly up to the stars. The time has come to make a bold new start...'

Argghhh, the song's still stuck in my head.

Anyway, I'm happy with my report =]

I actually improved in maths! I got a B not a C, yayy.

I got an award for english and an A on my report for it.

It really is my best subject, I suppose.

One more week to go...

But on the plus side -

JAMBEROO! WHERE YOU CONTROL THE ACTION! tomorrow.

Yessss. Haven't been there since I was 6!

Well, I should go and pack then.

2nd Test, 4th day at Adelaide - Aus win

Australia has won against New Zealand in the 2nd test and has claimed the series.

Awesome.

You know, at one point I was saying to my friend that NZ player O'Brien was going to get out by Brett Lee soon.

And guess what?

A few balls later he was goneskiezz!

Bwahahaha, I'm so skilful.

Brett Lee was on fire...all those bouncers...

I think I even heard Brendon McCullum say "Oh S**t!" while Brett bowled another bouncer at him.

Hilarious. He swore on national television which kids like myself are watching.

Loved the commentators reaction, "Oop, I think I just heard an expletive there." One of them said something like that. I can't recall the exact words as I was laughing my head off.

Immature I know but I just find it really funny. I'm 12, get off my back =]

I absolutely love those stump microphones.

Good job Australia.

2nd Test, 3rd day at Adelaide - Go Hadds!

Brad Haddin got his first Test century today against NZ. Congrats.

He got out on 169. It was a brilliant innings.

Michael Clarke did great as well with his 110.

But going back to Hadds; he's definitely the right man to have replaced Adam Gilchrist.

There are a lot of wicketkeeper-batsmen nowadays.

They are a great advantage to their team.

Taking catches and making runs too! Doesn't get any better than that.

Go Hadds.

Go Australia.

2nd Test, 2nd Day at Adelaide

The last time I saw the cricket on Channel 9, Brad Haddin and Michael Clarke were at the crease.

They were going very good.

I don't know about now; my dad changed the channel.

Here's the bulletin.

Boredom has taken over

Saturday?

Meh.

My day's boring.

I want to watch the cricket but I can't because my mum's watching something else so...

I'm bored.

Well, at least Ricky Ponting is steering Australia well. That's very good; happy to know that Australia are right on top.

Too bad Matthew Hayden got run-out on his 100th test match. It would've been great if he made a century but eh, what can you do?

I'm bored. I should just play with my dog then.

Bridget out.

Thanks SFA

ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI SCHOOL is awesome.

The people that go there are awesome.

The teachers are awesome (some of them *cough*).

That's why I'm going to miss everything and everybody.

~

7 YEARS OF MY LIFE AT THAT SCHOOL!!!!!!!

7 years of building relationships with other people; aka 'friends.'

7 years of getting to know the teachers. (more like 7 years of homework torture).

7 years of going to assembly, having library, doing homework, playing on the playground, singing our national anthem, sitting on the ground, being bossed by teachers, having fun, falling over, crying, being happy, work, doing assessments, having spelling words, smiling, laughing, enjoying, excursions, talent quest, hats, school uniform and other random stuff that I cannot think of at the moment.

Next year is going to be different. 2009 is coming.

And since this blog is something that can be viewed all across Australia and the world, I'd like to take this time to thank some certain special people.

Let's start from the beginning.

Mum and dad - for letting me be the best I can be. Both of you have been an inspiration to me and have taught me to respect, love, and honour the people that are important and special in my life. Thank you.

Kindergarden teacher: Miss Murphy
Class: Kindy Blue
- Helping me on my first day and telling me where to put my bag and teaching me my ABC's and 123's. Thank you.

Year 1 teacher: Miss Cox
Class: 1 Red
- Being cool and accepting my present of a giant chocolate block of Toblerone (if that's how you spell it). Thank you.

Year 2 teacher: Mrs Doulub
Class: 2 Blue
- Letting me reach my potential and helping me realise that I could achieve more. Thank you.

Year 3 teacher: Mrs Sultana
Class: 3S
- Building my knowledge and help me improve my reading. Thank you.

Year 4 teacher: Mrs Strong
Class: 4S
- Making me a sportier person and letting me know that I had neat hand writing. Thank you.

Year 5 teacher: Mrs Bracken
Class: 5B
- Helping me improve on my public speaking and speech writing. Making me think more positive, read more and for inspiring me to become school captain for 2008. I thank her a lot for my success. Thank you.

Year 6 teacher: Miss Byrne
Class: 6F
- My current teacher.
For being a humorous teacher and letting us have fun once in a while. Making school work easier and letting us see the good side of things by making us laugh. Thank you.

Principal: Mr Mahony
- Being a great principal and leading assemblies good, lol. Thank you.

Tanvi, Erica, Dana, Jasraj, Nicole, Adriana, Laiza, Japneet, Jenica, Jherrico, Luke, Lysander, Jayce, Brayden, Aurelyn, Natalie, Adem, Callum, Kayetana, Elvin, Courtney, Danielle, Glenn, Ian, Mitchell, Mathew, Liam, Eric, Damien, Sam, Christian, Zac, Alisha, Dale, Alex, Rex, Emilio, Ravjyot, Damon, Terrence, Jordyn, Ivan, BLAH BLAH BLAH; you people know who you are, (sorry I'm just lazy to type all your names up) THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH GREAT CLASSMATES. I LOVE YOU ALL.

Finally, thank you ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI for being a great school.

It was great to go to you. Hm, yes if that makes sense.

Ok, well, since the Year 6 graduation is coming up, I'd just like to share my School Captain graduation speech. Here goes...

Six years ago, I was still in kindergarden learning how to write my name. That was in 2002. But now in 2008, I'm standing right infront of you here today giving a graduation speech. How fast does time go? In my opinion, I reckon it goes too fast. Time is gold, that's what my mum says. And yes, I agree with that. My time with my friends and teachers are pure gold. I will never forget about them. Ten years from now, I'm sure that I'll look back at the past and remember all those who were important to me back in primary school. These sort of memories stick with you forever, no matter what happens. But now I have to move forward, look to the future. High school is going to be different. New friends, new teachers, new environment. No more waking up late, no more playing handball or tennis in the playground. It's sad. I honestly wish that I could stay at St Francis School forever but yeah, that's impossible. I really thank my parents for sending me to such a great school, with such great people. The education was the absolute best, the excursions were fun and the teachers were funny...sometimes. There never was a day that did not consist of laughter and humour. In every single room I went into, there was happiness. The air always gave me a good feeling. Seeing all of those smiling faces; learning and talking to their friends. To me, that is what life is about; being happy. It doesn't matter if you don't have much money, the things that matter are the simple things: learning, friends and most importantly family. Yes, at times your family are a pain in the back, but you have to appreciate and thank God for them as they will always be there for you through the good times and the bad. They will always be by your side. They will also push you and push you, just to make you achieve great things and I cherish that a lot because that is how I got here today. And finally, now that the year is coming to an end, I'd like to thank all my friends, classmates, teachers and just everybody for helping me through seven years of my life at St Francis of Assisi. Thanks for the memories.

Finito. Thanks for reading, thanks for being my friend, thanks for helping me, thanks for teaching me, thanks for inspiring me, thanks for making me laugh...

THANK YOU.

What's happening Roy?

Was Andrew Symonds involved in a pub fight or not?

The cricket sites are confusing me.

Cricinfo is saying that he was involved in an incident while cricket.com.au is saying that he did nothing wrong.

HUH???

Make up your minds.

Gosh, change the title of your articles; freaking confusing people.

Anyway, Symo's ok.

I don't think he did anything.

Hopefully not.

I don't want him to be dropped again.

The Australian team don't need that right now.

Cricket Australia are just plain stupid if they drop him again.

Happy birthday Gilly

Adam Gilchrist got a very good present last night.

His team, the All*Stars beat the number 1 side in the world:

Australia.

Ahahahaha, Gilly's team won by 64 runs. This has made me very happy.

This exhibition match was for me, a great start to the season.

Michael Dighton and Adam Gilchrist got off to a great start, as they shared an opening partnership of 67.

But it was the great Justin Langer (52*) and the big-hitting Brad Hodge (65*) who gave the All*Stars the score of 203.

Australia got to a very slow start but then the return of Andrew Symonds who made 45, was definately the best run-scorer for the Australians.

But the All*Stars' bowlers just proved to be too much for them and were all out for 139.

India win series

India deserved it, I suppose.

Australia sucked and they were getting suckier by the minute. They got owned/thrashed/pwned/killed/murdered/slaughtered... you can call it whatever you want; they still lost.

India did it.

They beat number 1 and they are now number 2. Good job.

For the Australians...

Please lift your game up.

I'm getting bored with your performances. At one stage it was extraordinary and then BANG! two minutes later it went to shocking.

Horrible.

Terrible.

Disgraceful.

And I dare say...

UNAUSTRALIAN.

Wow.

And it takes a lot of bad playing for me to say that.

What happened to that arrogant Aussie spirit??

That's what I want. That's what Australians want.

We want to see aggression. We want to see that attacking performance.

We don't want to see slow over-rates. We don't want to see crap. We want to see what Australia does best when focused: Winning.

Are Australia finally losing it?

Um, no they're not?

...Or maybe they are?

I don't know.

All I know is that Australia are not the team they used to be. It's either that or India is one hell of a good team and finally getting it up there with the Australians.

Yes, I thank Jason Krejza and Simon Katich for keeping us in the game while the others struggled. But maybe that was just another day. You have bad days and good days. You can't predict what's going to happen.

Gilchrist, Warne, McGrath, Martyn, Langer have all retired recently and it has seriously affected Australia. It's hit them right in the gut.

But I reckon Australia can still cope.

Hopefully.

They can still remain Number 1 if they put their minds to it.

Go Australia.
